Statusy originated from a Hackathon at Squadcast, inspired by the need to improve trackability of the many tools we use. Yash Jain, our development engineer, championed this idea, turning it into a passion project. He dedicated his weekends to creating a platform purpose-built to improve efficiency, offering a unified view of status pages to keep teams informed about potential disruptions. Since its development, Statusy has become a key component of our essential incident response workflows at Squadcast, letting us save time while getting all our required updates.
Simply put, Statusy was born out of our need to scratch our own itch! We sought to streamline service monitoring by centralizing data from various status pages, thereby eliminating the need for individual and manual status checks. With Statusy, we aim to empower teams with immediate alerts and notifications, fostering a proactive stance towards any service disruptions or issues.
